You should check out your competitors to see the infographics they are using. The choice of graphics, color, and tone of the copy of your infographic will be determined by what appeals to your target audience. The target audience of your infographic will also shape how you visualize the information on your infographic. Step 2: Define The Audience For Your Infographic Whether you are trying to relay complex data to your readers, present a quick overview of a blog post, or display the results of a survey, the goal of your infographic will shape your design approach. The goal of your infographic will determine the design elements you will use and the words you will include in the copy of your infographic. Although the airplane's operating instructions called for the pilot to jettison the canopy before ditching, the pilot did not do so, and was subsequently unable to fully open the canopy and egress the airplane as it sank. Although the supercharger may have failed as the initiating event, the reason for the engine failure could not be determined due to the excessive internal damage to the engine.Įxamination of the pilot's seat belt/shoulder harness restraints and canopy operation, including a functional test of the jettison T-handle, did not reveal evidence of any in-flight anomaly or failure. Oil and metallic fragments were found inside the engine's supercharger. Damage to the inside of the crankcase prevented the removal of cylinders and disassembly of the engine. The pilot was unable to egress the airplane and drowned.Įxamination of the engine revealed evidence of internal seizure. Another pilot in the formation reported that the canopy was partially open before the ditching. The airplane landed on the water and subsequently sank. For example, those who don’t know Jesus use the word “hell” all the time and shouldn’t we be talking about the things Jesus talked about? Surprisingly to some, he talked about a place of torment quite a bit. I mentioned it last Sunday and again some have asked, “Do we really have to talk about this?” Well, it seems like everyone is talking about eternal places except for Christians. This Sunday we’ll be looking at the words of Jesus as he speaks about a place called Gehenna. Fix your mind and heart on this my friend and always remember - whatever pain you face today will one day be alleviated forever, therefore we live accordingly. "Since all these things are thus to be dissolved, what sort of people ought you to be in lives of holiness and godliness." 2 Peter 3:11000 While the place of heaven is unimaginably beautiful, the presence of God will be our greatest joy. So what does our eternal home mean for our current and temporary realities? Paul explains in Romans chapter 8. "For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us." Romans 8:18 There is no greater glory than God himself. If you were to meet in Gila Bend, it would be no disappointment to you whatsoever. But for you in that moment of reunion, the place is secondary to the person. Hawaii is a beautiful place and I am sure most of us would love to go there right now. The government has made arrangements for you to meet your beloved in Hawaii, where you would be with them for two weeks before returning home. Finally, after many false hopes and setbacks, an agreement was negotiated with the enemy and the release of your loved one is at hand. You know this person (your husband, wife, son, daughter or best friend) is alive and you hope to see them again. Suppose that someone you love is a prisoner of war, held captive for many years. Let me give you an illustration to help you understand what this means. The beautiful and peaceful environment is secondary to the person because we will be in the very presence of God almighty. Our eternal residence is described as having streets paved with gold, gates of pearl, life without pain, sorrow, temptation or loss. Until then, be the light so others will see your good works and glorify your Father Who is in heaven! On Sunday, we’ll unpack it and see that it’s really more like the celebration at a graduation, complete with rewards. The thought of being “judged” certainly seems unsettling. And then He will reward us for all that we have done for His glory. Most likely, you’ve never heard of the Bema of Jesus. Jesus will assess our every thought, motive, and action. When we stand before the Bema of Christ, our faithful service to Him will be evaluated and rewarded. It will be an assessment (not a judgment in the way we normally think) of our stewardship for Jesus. As Paul says in Romans 8:1, “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." Again, in Ephesians 1, he makes it clear that, “In him (Jesus) we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace.” This is not a judgment which will determine whether we get into heaven or not. So, what’s at stake? The good works we have done as Christians. That’s been settled by the death of Jesus on the cross for your sins. The issue at the Bema of Christ will not be our eternal destiny. Athletes would “appear” before the bema after completing their events, where the judges would ensure they competed according to the rules and then award the prizes for winning. In New Testament times, the bema was a raised platform used by the judges in the Greek games. The New Testament is clear that a day is coming when you and me and all believers must all appear before the “Bema” – what many call the “judgment seat of Christ” (2 Cor 5:10). What we do, how we do it, and why we do it are all going to be considered by God on a day when we, as Christians, will stand before Him. You have been created in Jesus with purpose and significance in His Kingdom, to do good works every day for His glory. And this Sunday, we will see that Scripture tells us those everyday good works have consequences in the kingdom to come. And the way in which God has crafted you determines what He intends for you to do. “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them." (Ephesians 2:10) You are the crown of God’s creation! He has taken great care in uniquely designing you. The level of information provided for each tool is not exactly the same. Rather, she had the line “When she’s with you, do you get déjà vu?” written on her phone for months, which she expanded into a full song with her collaborator Dan Nigro. While she did write the song immediately after crafting “Drivers License,” Rodrigo said there was no specific inspiration. It’s just a super universal thing that I think happens to everyone that we just don’t really talk about a ton.” “So I thought it would be a cool play on words to use déjà vu as a metaphor for this very universal thing that happens when you break up with someone and they get with somebody else, and see them living the life that you lived. In an interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, Rodrigo said “Deja Vu” was about people’s common experiences with the odd phenomenon, explaining that she’s “sort of obsessed” with the concept. And no, it’s not about her High School Musical: The Musical: The Series co-star Joshua Bassett, she says, but that’s not stopping fans from thinking otherwise. This question and its answers are locked because the question is off-topic but has historical significance. If your car is actually overheating, you’ll want to address this issue as soon as you can. You may have to check other components of your engine first to figure out how accurate your gauge is. Most of the time, your temperature gauge’s reading is going to be accurate, so it can sometimes be tough to determine whether your engine temperature really is getting too high or whether the temperature gauge is acting up. It’s not super common for the gauge to break, but it certainly can happen. If your temperature gauge is displaying an incorrect reading, there’s a good chance that it’s the fault of the temperature gauge itself. If you’ve determined that your water pump is the source of the problem, you should have it replaced as soon as you can. Related: How to Start a Car With a Bad Fuel Pump This is likely because the extra airflow from the car moving at speed is compensating for the lack of coolant circulation. However, you may also find that the temperature returns to normal once the car actually gets moving. If the water pump fails, the engine will start to heat up quickly when idling. However, there are other symptoms of a faulty temperature sensor that are more serious. If the temperature sensor goes bad, it can potentially cause your temperature gauge to read high even if the actual coolant temperature isn’t that high. Related: Why Does My Car Turn Off While Driving? The coolant temperature sensor does exactly what the name suggests it measures the temperature of the coolant and sends this information to the car’s computer, which helps the computer adjust things like the air/fuel ratio and the ignition timing. Specifically, we’re referring to the coolant temperature sensor in this case. We’ll be taking a look at a variety of problems that fit into both of these scenarios, so let’s get right into it. It could either be that your engine is running normally but the temperature reading is way off, or that the engine is actually running hotter than usual but not quite getting to the point of overheating. When we talk about a temperature gauge that is reading high even if the car isn’t overheating, then we’re talking about a couple of different scenarios. Reasons for a High Temperature Reading but No Overheating We’ll also touch on what to do if your car is actually overheating, and share with you some other info about engine temperatures that you may want to know. In this article, we’ll be going over all of the reasons why your temperature gauge might be displaying a false high reading, as well as why your engine might be running hot but not overheating. The gauge itself or the temperature sensor connected to the gauge may be broken, or there may be issues with some of the engine’s other components that are giving you a false reading. If your temperature gauge is reading abnormally high but your car isn’t actually overheating, there are a few reasons this might be happening. Sometimes, however, temperature gauges can give erroneous readings for one reason or another. The purpose of the temperature gauge is, obviously, to show you the temperature of your engine at any given time. Temperature gauges are far more common in older cars since in those days engine cooling systems weren’t nearly as effective as they are now. Let the pot dry between coats so you don’t get any icky-looking clumpy paint buildup.Ī finishing coat of sealer isn’t necessary if the pots will stay indoors. Simply repeat step 2 until you have complete coverage. Two of the colors I used provided enough coverage in two coats. You can easily touch up any small amount of wet paint you accidentally smear off. That’s because you won’t be worried about getting wet paint on your hands while working. Using disposable gloves will help protect your hands and save you time. Paint the saucer to match or in whatever design you want. If you aren’t up to this, just wait until the outside is dry to the touch so you can pick the pot up and maneuver it while painting. Then I like to set it down and carefully paint around the lip, including the top of the pot’s interior. I like to hold the pot at the lip and paint as much of the outside of the pot as I can. This gives it a nice even look as the paint dries. Being painting the pot around the outside, circling the circumference of the pot. Use a small flat brush that is about 1/4” to 2” wide, depending on the size of your pot. It’s cheap, easy, and quick-so I always do it on my painted pots. Especially if my pots are going to be outside. However, I like to use the Waterseal as an extra layer of protection. If you use a paint specifically designed for outdoor use, you can probably skip the sealer. Definitely spray in a well-ventilated or outdoor area. The odor isn’t fabulous, but it isn’t terrible. When spraying on clay, it’s easy to see where you’ve sprayed because it just makes the terracotta look wet. That means using it gives you a nice clean surface to paint on. Thompson’s Waterseal can seal any porous material against damage by water, including concrete, brick, stone, plaster, wood, canvas, asbestos, and yes-terracotta. If you want to paint your pots to give them a different look, you don’t want the moisture getting under the paint. Terracotta is a porous material, which means it will absorb moisture. Is Thompson’s Waterseal Really Necessary? Let it dry completely, then apply the Thompson’s Water Seal. Then wash the pot thoroughly in the sink with dish soap, scrubbing the inside and out. If you’re painting an old pot, remove any existing paint if you need to. This comes in a brush-on version too, but the aerosol is super convenient for small pots! Make sure it’s totally dry, then give it a couple coats of Thompson’s Water Seal aerosol spray on the inside and out. Just make sure it’s free of dirt and debris. If you’re working with new terracotta pots, you probably don’t need to do much to clean the pot. More at the end of this post on the best paint for terracotta pots.Īnd here’s how to paint terracotta pots Step 1: Prep the pot
